Basic assumptions

The relauched Theory of Liquid Democracy underlies several basic assumptions:

1. In a real democracy people freely, equally and cooperatively strive to avoid pain und to multiply happiness.

2. Psychological knowledge and theories about how people self-regulate, self-control and self-organize can be applied and transfered to processes of collective self-organization in terms of an intelligent social organism.

3. iP7 includes all necessary universal criteria that a person or a (social) organism needs to cope with a complex, ambiguous world and to measure the quality of political performances and related resistence to solve problems in terms of political equality, freedom of expression and conscientious decisions.
